Following their highly acclaimed version of Over the Rainbow last Summer and two smashing singles in 2024, including a debut entry into the UK Commercial Pop Club Chart Top 10 in June with Dance On Ur Own 2 Feet, London-based queer, non-binary, Irish singer/songwriter JD Kelleher has today released another smash pop single & music video, TAKE THE MON€Y & RUN for a hat-trick of great pop records this year.

“My band live in Spain so it’s not always easy to get us all together in one place for a shoot, but I’m happy we managed to pull it off for this very fun song. We’re all having a great time in the video. The human and the musical connection between us are real. We love making tunes together and we’re very fond of each other. Each of these guys is immensely talented and brings something very special to the mix. I’m proud to work with them!”
JD has reunited with Catalan musicians, Jimmy Pinol, David Ibarz & Marti Rieira (along with new band member Alex Badia on keys & synths) who together topped the Irish rock chart during the Marriage Equality referendum in May 2015 with their debut single & video version of Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart, the lead single from JD’s debut EP, The Ugly Tree.
